Graduates earn 132 degrees, certificates from Covenant Theological Seminary


About 72.7 percent of the 132 degrees and certificates handed out by Covenant Theological Seminary in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Louis conferred 83 master's degrees and 9 doctor's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in divinity/ministry. Data shows the school gave out 58 master's degrees in divinity/ministry, followed by 36 master's degrees in counseling psychology and 11 master's degrees in "other" theological and ministerial studies.

The seminary enrolled 517 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 517 programs.
