Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
We have great news! Joyce Smith, author of The Impossible and whose family’s story was depicted in this year’s hit movie “Breakthrough” will serve as The Salvation Army St. Charles County 2019 Tree of Lights Campaign Kick Off Luncheon Speaker. She will speak on the power of prayer and the fantastic story of the recovery of her son after he fell through the ice on a lake, right here in St. Charles County. Joyce’s story of prayer rings true for The Salvation Army. We see every day the difference your support and prayers make for the individuals and families we serve.
Please join us in “Doing the Most Good” at The Salvation Army St. Charles County Tree of Lights Kick Off Luncheon on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 and hear Joyce Smith’s miraculous story. The program begins at 12 p.m. (doors open at 11:30 a.m.) at the Old Hickory Golf Club, located at 1 Dye Club Drive, St Peters, MO 63304. Tickets are $50 or a table of 8 seats for $400. Several sponsorship benefits are available at a variety of levels.
Please contact Vicki White, St. Charles County Regional Development Director at (314) 606-7847 or Vicki.White@usc.salvationarmy.org with any questions or for sponsorship information. I look forward to seeing you November 13, 2019.
