86 percent of applicants to the University of Central Missouri were admitted for fall 2018


At the University of Central Missouri, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Warrensburg enrolled 11,487 students in fall 2018, including 9,300 in undergraduate and 2,187 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

85 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 13 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (9 percent).

The school admitted 86 percent of the 4,867 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
