Census Bureau: Houston, Missouri saw more residents between ages 45 and 54 in 2017


Of the 2,428 people residing in Houston, Missouri in 2017, the median age was 39, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Missouri Business Daily.

The largest number of people were in the 45 to 54 age bracket with the fewest number of people in the age bracket for people over the age of 84.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
