MARKSNELSON: MarksNelson's COVID-19 Preparedness and an IRS Update

MarksNelson issued the following announcement on March 13.

First and foremost, know that MarksNelson’s top priority is protecting the health of our clients, our team members, their families, and the general community. At this time, we are not aware of any cases of a MarksNelson employee or their family members being directly affected by COVID-19. We are taking increased precautions at our office to promote a healthy environment and we are providing regular guidance to our team.

Additionally, MarksNelson has a COVID-19 Response Plan in place. This plan was developed collaboratively with each of our practice areas to ensure safety as well as the continuity of our operations and ability to service our clients. Virtual work capabilities have been in place at MarksNelson for many years and our staff and operational infrastructure are accustomed to this type of work environment. We have taken steps to ensure any transition will be as smooth as possible for our clients, should such a need arise.

As we are reminding our staff, MarksNelson believes in remaining calm but diligent. We are assessing the situation daily and remain in close communication with health agencies, other employers in our community, and our global network of partner CPA and business advisory firms to ensure we are implementing best practices.

Your MarksNelson team is here for you through this uncertainty and we care greatly about you and your loved ones. If you have any questions or issues you would like to discuss, please email or call your MarksNelson contact. I also welcome you to contact me directly.

Best Regards,

Josh Beck
