Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber Technologies Inc., took part in a recent keynote during the 2022 Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference.

Uber's focus is developing opportunity through movement, the company said in a recent news release.

As CEO of Uber, Khosrowshahi is responsible for the management of a business with more than 22,000 employees and is experiencing growth in 63 countries around the world, Uber's website said.

"We started in 2010 to solve a simple problem: how do you get access to a ride at the touch of a button?" Uber said in the news release. "More than 30 billion trips later, we're building products to get people closer to where they want to be. By changing how people, food and things move through cities, Uber is a platform that opens up the world to new possibilities."

Morgan Stanley's TMT conference was held in San Francisco on March 7, a release on the company's website said. The event gave attendees an opportunity to learn about key trends that drive the direction of the technology, media and telecom landscape.

Moreover, the company also noted that the "metaverse" provides a primary example of how digitalization is impacting our daily lives, including work and play.
